Job summary

ArchKey Solutions in Clinton, MD is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support preconstruction and project management with estimates, bid reviews, and value analysis for electrical and specialty systems.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, 1–5 years of electrical construction estimating experience, and strong analytical and documentation skills. Occasional travel may be required for site surveys and bid reviews.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in construction management or related field.
• 1–5 years electrical estimating experience and knowledge of code requirements.
• Ability to read electrical contracts, plans, drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• LEAN methodologies or similar process improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist preconstruction and project management with estimates and bid reviews.
• Review bid documents with project manager and chief estimator to determine costs.
• Survey job sites to determine most cost-effective plan and use LEAN practices to improve efficiency.
• Prepare clear, accurate estimate documents and support procurement with supplier quotes.
