Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and documentation to understand requirements.
• Identify and quantify project costs including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead; obtain quotes from suppliers/subcontractors.
• Analyze historical data and industry trends to develop cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals.
• Participate in meetings to provide cost insights and recommendations.
• Maintain cost databases and estimating tools.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide cost-related support to project teams and management.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills; communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
