SGS Consulting seeks an Estimator to join our team in Springfield. The role involves reviewing project specs, developing cost estimates, and preparing bids for high voltage electrical construction projects.

You will work with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure accurate, timely budgeting and procurement. The ideal candidate will have 1–5 years of estimating experience, familiarity with WinEST, INEight, or Accubid, and a Bachelor’s degree.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand scope.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals.
• Participate in project meetings to provide cost-related insights.
• Update and maintain cost databases and estimating tools.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide cost-related support to project teams and management.

Job Responsibilities

Estimators should have strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. They should also have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are also important for this role.

Skills

• 1-5 years of experience in Estimating high voltage electrical construction projects
• Experience in any of the estimating software like (WinEST, INEight and accubid etc)
