Job summary

Jobot, a growing established electrical contractor in Rancho Cordova, Northern California, seeks an Electrical Estimator to join on a permanent basis. You will review plans, prepare estimates, and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project managers on a range of industrial, commercial, and residential projects.

This role requires 5+ years of estimating experience, proficiency in estimating software and MS Office, and a strong focus on accuracy, cost control, and timely bids.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specs to determine project scope and requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for pricing.
• Create labor tracking cost codes and schedule of values for projects.
• Price change orders as needed by operations.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project budgets.
