Job summary

Nextech is seeking an Electrical Estimator to evaluate project scopes and develop comprehensive cost estimates. You will work with project managers to procure materials, manage scope, and handle change orders, using PROCORE to stay current on bids.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and budgeting is essential. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical field work with estimating experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preferred BS/BA degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Electrical field experience and estimating experience.
• High school degree or equivalent required; BS/BA degree preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical plans and bidding requirements.
• Proficiency with project budgeting and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and manage electrical project costs and bids.
• Collaborate with project managers to procure materials and manage change orders.
• Review blueprints and specs to ensure accurate scope and pricing.
• Prepare comprehensive bids with all components priced correctly.
• Maintain records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
