Job summary

All Tech Electric is seeking an Electrical Estimator to develop cost estimates for electrical projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.

You will review plans, quantify material and labor, understand NEC requirements, request quotes from vendors, prepare proposals, and coordinate with general contractors and project teams to support accurate bids on Texas projects.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years estimating, sales, and/or project management experience in the commercial AND industrial electrical trade.
• Must have knowledge of the NEC.
• Must possess valid Texas Driver’s License (if stated in posting) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare cost estimates for electrical projects of varying size and complexity for public and private clients.
• Review project plans, specifications, bid documents to determine scope of work.
• Quantify material and labor requirements and ensure accuracy of bid packages.
• Identify bid risks, submit RFIs, and seek VE/options to improve competitiveness.
• Prepare proposal and scope letters, and assist in presenting estimates to customers.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, vendors and project teams to ensure proper handover of information.
