Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority seeks a Maintenance Supervisor II (Elec Equip) to design and deliver training, develop preventive and remedial maintenance procedures, and support Radio, CCTV and Security systems across NYC Transit. You will oversee in‑house and capital projects, supervise Level I Supervisors, and ensure safe, reliable 24/7 operations.

Five years of maintenance experience in a transit environment, with at least one year in supervision, and NY driver’s license requirements

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of full-time satisfactory experience in the maintenance department of a major railroad or transit authority repairing and maintaining electronic communication or control systems; at least one (1) year of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience conducting training on Radio, CCTV and Security systems;
• Experience creating preventive and remedial maintenance procedures;
• Thorough knowledge of working in an operating environment, responsible for maintenance and repair of electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, schedule, and conduct training on Radio, CCTV and Security systems.
• Develop and implement Preventive and Remedial Maintenance procedures.
• Supervise in-house installations and storerooms and order materials/equipment.
• Provide supervisory oversight of Level I Supervisors for 24x7 operations.
