Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a Digital & Power Circuit Design Engineer to own the full life cycle of high-rel electronic modules powering aerospace systems. You'll define architectures, capture schematics, layout boards, and manage BOMs for digital, power, and mixed-signal circuits while mentoring teammates.

You'll lead prototype builds, board testing, and root-cause investigations, drive manufacturability and cost optimization, collaborate with hardware, systems, RF and software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or STEM with 8 years of related experience, or 6 years with a Master's.
• Experience troubleshooting digital and power circuits across life cycle.
• Proficient with electronic test equipment and circuit simulation tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• U.S. Citizen eligible for Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture, schematic capture, layout, and BOM for digital, power, and mixed signal circuits using industry standard tools.
• Lead prototype builds, board level testing, and root cause investigations for SI and power issues.
• Drive design for manufacturability, reliability, and cost optimization through product life cycle, and handoff to manufacturing.
• Identify and fix issues during integration, qualification, and field operation.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster collaboration.
• Partner with hardware, systems, RF, and software engineers for system integration and compliance.
• Contribute to technical proposals translating customer needs into solutions.
• Prepare design reviews and high-impact briefings for seniors and customers.
