Job summary

S&S Worldwide, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to provide technical direction and resource planning for controls and electrical systems on major amusement rides.

Reporting to the Engineering Director, you will lead a team through project scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and development of electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety requirements. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and travel domestically and internationally

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years' experience with PLCs, motion control systems, sensors and actuators, and user interfaces.
• Ability to create and manage schedules in MS Project or equivalent.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly with engineering teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical and control system scope for new projects with project managers and Engineering Director.
• Schedule team tasks and adjust priorities to meet master engineering schedule.
• Assist budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling for the Electrical design and engineering team.
• Develop and supervise electrical systems for rides, including specs, safety evaluations, IO lists, schematics, and installation oversight.
• Review and approve engineering work through the ECO process.
