Job summary

S&S Worldwide, Inc in Utah is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the engineering department's controls and electrical systems for major amusement rides. You will provide technical direction and resource planning for development and programming.

Responsibilities include defining work scopes, scheduling tasks, budgeting support, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while guiding a skilled engineering team to deliver reliable, safe installations.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or controls programming.
• 10+ years' experience with PLCs, motion control, sensors, actuators, and UI criteria.
• Ability to create and manage project schedules in MS Project or equivalent.
• Strong communication with engineering teams and customers.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical and control system work scope for new projects with project managers.
• Schedule team tasks and adjust priorities to meet master schedule.
• Assist in budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling for the Electrical design team.
• Develop and review electrical system designs, wiring, schematics, and documentation.
• Review and approve engineering work through ECO process.
• Maintain compliance with codes, standards, and best practices (UL508A panel shop).
