Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Trane US is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the design and delivery of industrial control cabinets and robotic-cell solutions for the Americas. The role translates customer needs into safe, reliable, and commercially competitive solutions using Mitsubishi Electric automation tech.

It sets technical direction, develops talent, standardizes practice, and drives cost and quality improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years in design/delivery of industrial control cabinets or robotics.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, VFDs, safety standards, and control-panel tech.
Ability to create and review schematics, layouts, BOMs, I/O lists, and test procedures.
Experience with CAD/CAE tools and document/change management.

Responsibilities

Lead the electrical engineering team, setting priorities and performance measures.
Own the engineering lifecycle from requirements to commissioning and improvement.
Ensure designs meet standards (UL 508A, NFPA 70/IEC 60204-1, ISO 13849-1).
Drive standardization, cost reduction, quality, and on-time execution.
Lead design reviews on power, grounding, protection, and safety.
