Job summary

GDH is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers, drive design and analysis across field and fabrication projects, and ensure safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role emphasizes supervision, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with office and remote work, requiring at least 2 years of supervisory experience and a PE license (or progress toward licensure).

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with at least 2 years in supervisory or project management roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university; master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or commitment to licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor electrical engineering staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and terminating personnel as needed.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and coordination of multiple major projects or programs.
• Perform design, analysis, and technical review activities to support engineering projects.
• Ensure procedures and project activities comply with company policies and industry standards.
• Lead project meetings, present technical information, and represent the organization in forums.
• Stay current on NFPA, IEEE, API codes and practices, recommending updates as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and contractors to meet objectives and resolve issues.
