Job summary

GDH Consulting, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical power distribution design, analysis, and project execution. You will manage scopes, budgets, and schedules while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Responsibilities include creating complete design packages, reviewing documents, and performing ETAP/EasyPower/SKM analyses. A PE or FE pursuing PE is preferred; 6+ years in industrial power distribution, ideally Oil & Gas, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS degree preferred.
• PE licensing preferred or FE with goal to obtain PE within one year.
• Minimum of 6 years related engineering experience, with a focus on industrial power distribution.
• Experience with medium voltage utility tie-ins and low voltage facility distribution, preferably in Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

• Lead complete electrical power distribution design and specification packages.
• Prepare and review detailed project documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Conduct experiments, analysis, and modeling with ETAP/EasyPower/SKM.
• Coordinate tasks with engineers, designers, contractors, and vendors to meet requirements.
• Manage scopes, budgets, and schedules; support proposals and funding.
• Provide guidance on electrical layout, grounding, and protection/coordination.
• Attend meetings, present technical aspects, and interact with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with IEEE, NEC, and NESC standards.
• Support safety initiatives and uphold company ethics.
• Develop engineering solutions for complex projects with innovative approaches.
