Job summary

SSOE is seeking a Mid-to-Senior level Electrical Engineer (Automotive & Industrial Facilities) to lead planning, design, and execution of electrical systems for complex industrial and manufacturing facilities.

The engineer will serve as Engineer of Record and collaborate with clients, project managers, and engineering teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
8+ years electrical engineering experience supporting industrial or manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of electrical systems for automotive, manufacturing, battery, and industrial facility projects.
Serve as Engineer of Record and technical lead on projects of varying complexity and size.
Develop electrical power distribution systems from utility service through facility distribution networks.
Prepare and review one-line diagrams, power plans, equipment layouts, cable schedules, lighting and grounding systems, and load calculations.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, controls, structural, civil, and architecture teams throughout project development.
Mentor junior engineers and designers while promoting technical excellence and quality standards.
