Job summary

WSP USA in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Full‑Time Electrical Engineering (Transmission) Intern to join the Power and Energy Team for a 12‑week summer program beginning May 17, 2027. This role is for students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs and requires authorization to work in the United States.

You will support a variety of engineering tasks, learn basic electrical engineering principles, assist with research, field work, and preliminary design calculations, and help

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program with an anticipated graduation date August 2027 or later.
Must be 18 or older and authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
Strong interest in Electrical Engineering and willingness to learn.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly to engineers and non‑engineers.

Responsibilities

Assist with engineering tasks to develop technical and professional skills.
Learn basic Electrical Engineering principles and concepts.
Support project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.
Help prepare final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
Collect and maintain project documentation and training on tasks.
Adhere to safety policies and the company Code of Conduct.
