Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Engineering Intern to support design and analysis across Transmission & Distribution projects. Qualifications

• Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited program.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Active involvement in campus, community or other volunteer activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with responses to general questions and ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to project concerns and research solutions to problems.
