Job summary

DLR Group is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Los Angeles. This paid, full-time internship is part of the Emerging Professional Experience (EPX) program and runs May 18 through August 6, 2027.

You will design electrical systems and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; onsite visits may be required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Completed at least one year at an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering program.
• Experience or interest in BIM workflow.

Responsibilities

• Work with a licensed engineer designing electrical systems for new construction and/or building renovation projects.
• Attend design team meetings with an electrical engineer and observe coordination in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assist an electrical engineer with the design and development of construction documents primarily using Revit.
• Visit an active construction site (contingent on local projects).
