Merrick & Company is seeking a college or graduate student for a paid Summer Internship in Electrical Engineering, with positions in Greenwood Village, CO, Tulsa, OK, or Richmond, VA. The program offers hands-on experience across power, lighting, instrumentation, and control systems within client projects.

The internship runs roughly mid-May through mid-August 2027 and includes training opportunities, collaboration with engineers, and exposure to real projects in an employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Graduation date after August 2027 is required.
• Pursuing Electrical Engineering with electrical emphasis at an ABET-accredited university.
• Currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher, or grad student.
• Knowledge of facility electrical and lighting design and/or power system design.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to electrical engineering tasks including power, lighting, grounding, and controls in client projects.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines and interface with clients/contractors while adhering to schedules and budgets.
