Job summary

Merrick & Company is seeking a college or graduate school Electrical Engineering student for a paid summer internship in our Greenwood Village, CO office. You will support the Electrical team on life sciences projects, including biocontainment labs and related facilities.

Open to undergraduate or graduate students; the program emphasizes hands-on experience, client collaboration, and exposure to real project work within an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an Electrical Engineering program and entering junior year or higher.
• Must have graduation date after August 2027 and be eligible for a paid internship.
• U.S. citizenship requirement noted in job description.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical design tasks for facilities and life sciences projects.
• Assist with power, lighting, grounding, and fire detection systems design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with clients and contractors.
