Job summary

IMEG is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern in Minneapolis, MN. Over 10-12 weeks, you'll assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems for the vertical building industry while working closely with a team of experienced engineers and consultants on real project work.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects related to discipline systems in accordance with code and IMEG standards
• Assist with researching commercially available equipment
• Support client relations, maintain the project design notebook, and provide documentation for permanent record files
• Assist with coordinating design and schedule with other disciplines, including architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers
• Assist with documenting design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while monitoring project design progress
• Assist with preparing and issuing addendum information
• Conduct periodic job site observations and support other services required by the contract services agreement
