Job summary

IMEG Corp in Minneapolis invites rising electrical engineering students to a Summer 2027 internship. Over 10-12 weeks, you'll assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems for building projects while working with experienced engineers and consultants on real project work.

You'll contribute to documentation, coordination, addenda, and periodic job site observations while supporting projects across education, government, and healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• None required

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects per IMEG standards.
• Research commercially available equipment.
• Support client relations and maintain design notebooks.
• Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final check.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations.
