Job summary

WSP USA is offering a Full-Time Electrical Engineering (ESSP) Intern position in Ann Arbor, MI, with consideration of Maitland, FL; Indian Land, SC; Freeport, ME; or Syracuse, NY. This 12-week summer program starts May 17, 2027, and targets undergrad/grad students enrolled in related programs.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an Electrical Engineering undergrad program with anticipated graduation Aug 2027 or later.
• Must be 18 or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Interest in electrical engineering, consulting engineering, electric utility industry, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical studies and SCADA development/troubleshooting for utility and industrial clients.
• Support power system planning studies: power flow, voltage stability, automation of simulations.
• Contribute to substation grounding, insulation coordination, and power quality analysis.
