Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Intern in Southfield, MI. You will assist with design tasks, update engineering drawings, and support lead engineers on varied projects across Power, decarbonization technologies, and related markets.

The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, ABET preferred, and current enrollment with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; ABET preferred.
• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education; maintain good standing.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred; strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques for design and updates.
• Assist lead engineers with project duties and data gathering.
• Present solutions to concerns and analyze data for improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement by collecting data and analyzing trends.
