Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Southfield, MI is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to assist with standard engineering design tasks, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations. You will support lead engineers on Transmission & Distribution projects and gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting.

The internship requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET preferred), a 3.0 GPA or higher, and active campus or community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation and PowerPoint presentations.

• Participate in data collection and analysis for continuous improvement.
• Present solutions to concerns and research project questions.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
