Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Southfield, MI is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist with standard engineering tasks, design updates, and project duties across markets including Power. You will support data entry, documentation, and presentations while engaging in campus/community activities.

Candidates should be pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, with ABET accreditation preferred and a 3.0+ GPA.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a related program with good standing.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
• Prior internship or related consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks applying standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Assist lead engineers with project duties and design updates.
• File, scan, data entry, and prepare PowerPoint presentations.
• Research solutions and present findings to address project concerns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by data collection and analysis.
