Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns and Co-op students to support development across our North American design sites. This role is located in Eden Prairie, MN and you will work alongside experienced engineers on the design, testing, and implementation of power conversion, controls, and measurement solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Coursework in circuits, electronics, signals and systems, power systems, controls, or related subjects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support product development projects as part of a cross-functional engineering team.
• Assist with testing and troubleshooting prototype hardware.
• Collect, analyze, and document test results.
• Support design verification activities in the laboratory.
• Learn and apply engineering principles to solve technical problems.
• Assist with circuit design and evaluation.
• Participate in modeling and simulation activities.
• Help develop documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with engineers across design, manufacturing, and test teams.
