Job summary

Advanced Energy in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns to support design, testing, and implementation of power conversion and measurement solutions. You will work with seasoned engineers on product development and engineering analysis.

This internship offers hands-on lab work, opportunities to learn circuitry, modeling, and documentation, with exposure across design, manufacturing, and test teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Coursework in circuits, electronics, signals and systems, power systems, controls, or related subjects.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support product development projects as part of a cross-functional engineering team.
• Assist with testing and troubleshooting prototype hardware.
• Collect, analyze, and document test results.
• Support design verification activities in the laboratory.
• Learn and apply engineering principles to solve technical problems.
• Assist with circuit design and evaluation.
• Participate in modeling and simulation activities.
• Help develop documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Collaborate with engineers across design, manufacturing, and test teams.
