Job summary

Talanto invites applications for an Electrical Engineering Intern in Seattle, WA, offering a 10-12 week summer program with hands-on exposure to building systems design. Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required.
• Previousexposure to CAD and/or BIM software.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects related to discipline systems according to code and standards.
• Assist with researching commercially available equipment resources.
• Assist with client relations, project design notebooks, and documentation for permanent record files.
• Assist with coordinating design and schedules with other disciplines, including architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers.
• Assist with documenting design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while monitoring project design progress.
• Assist with reviewing project documents for accuracy and completeness prior to requesting a final check.
• Assist with preparing and issuing addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and other services required by the contract services agreement.
