Job summary

IMEG Corporation seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 10–12 week summer program in the Seattle area, with Portland/Vancouver options. You will support design, coordination, and documentation for building systems, gaining hands-on experience across hospitality, mixed-use, and government markets.

The internship offers hands-on project work, a mentor-guided cohort, and a potential path to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required.
• Exposure to CAD and/or BIM software encouraged.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of projects related to discipline systems according to code and IMEG standards.
• Assist with researching commercially available equipment resources.
• Assist with client relations, project design notebooks, and documentation for permanent record files.
• Assist with coordinating design and schedules with other disciplines and suppliers.
• Assist with documenting design decisions and monitoring progress.
• Assist with reviewing project documents for accuracy and completeness before final checks.
• Assist with preparing and issuing addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and other services required by the contract.
