Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of design techniques and producing technical plans.
• Strong analytical skills in circuit theory, electromagnetism and power systems.
• Familiar with lighting photometric software and energy compliance tools.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems per code and client standards.
• Interact with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional communication.
• Support consulting projects as part of a project team.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and client instructions; monitor progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
• Contribute to quality control processes ensuring standards compliance.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Prioritize safety and help identify safety risks.
