Job summary

Talanto, based in Columbus, OH, is offering a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering Internship. Over 10–12 weeks, you’ll assist in electrical system analysis, design, and implementation oversight with an HVAC focus, within multidisciplinary project work.

You’ll support budgets, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and help meet client expectations on healthcare and MEP projects, advancing high-performance, energy-efficient design.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Exposure to CAD and/or BIM software.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to communicate clearly in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of electrical systems for building projects.
• Research available equipment and supporting resources.
• Support client relations and document project decisions.
• Coordinate design and schedule with cross-functional teams.
• Document decisions and meetings for records.
• Review project documents for accuracy before final check.
• Prepare and issue addendum information.
• Conduct periodic job site observations and support contract services.
