Job summary

IMEG Corp in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program. You will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings while working with experienced engineers, with an HVAC focus area.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years toward a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Prior internship experience in building design consulting preferred.
• Proficient with CAD and/or BIM software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical system design for projects per IMEG standards and code.
• Research commercially available equipment for project needs.
• Support client relations and maintain project notebooks and records.
• Coordinate design and schedule with other disciplines (architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, tech, clerical).
• Document design decisions, meetings, and client instructions; monitor progress.
