Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) invites motivated electrical engineering students to join as a co-op/intern at our mills. You will support reliability, project engineering, and process control efforts with guidance from experienced engineers.

This position offers hands-on experience in AutoCAD, P&ID, and control documentation, exposure to mill operations, and potential pathway to full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA required and must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver's license.
• Majoring in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology and have completed freshman year (or will have done so).
• Preferred active Paper Foundation member at listed universities or enrolled at shown states.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability assignments to improve mill safety, equipment performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with reliability, maintenance, operations and mill personnel on issues.
• Assist with reliability projects and maintenance to support safe, efficient operations.
• Support design, installation, and startup tasks for project-oriented duties.
