Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) invites applications for an Electrical Engineering Co‑Op internship in Massillon, OH. The role may become an Electrical Reliability, Electrical Project, or Process Control Co‑Op depending on mill needs.

Primary duties include supporting reliability, project design, and control system documentation. Candidates should be Electrical Engineering majors with freshman year completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 is required.
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver’s license.
• Must be majoring in Electrical Engineering and have completed freshman year (or will have by start).

Responsibilities

• Support electrical reliability assignments to improve safety, equipment performance, and efficiency.
• Assist with planning, design, installation, commissioning of mill electrical equipment.
• Support project management activities such as scope, schedule, and cost tracking.
• Use AutoCAD, P&ID drawings, Trident, and Microsoft Office to update drawings and docs.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and mill personnel across projects.
