Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking electrical engineering co-ops/interns for three tracks: reliability, project engineering, and process control across mill operations in the United States. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, design, startup, and control system improvements, with use of AutoCAD, P&ID, and Office tools.

Applicants must be U.S. residents with a 3.0 GPA and be pursuing Electrical Engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 required.
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver's license.
• Major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field; freshman year completed.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical reliability assignments to improve safety, performance and cost effectiveness.
• Assist with planning, design, installation, commissioning, and startup of mill electrical equipment.
• Support process control efforts and help update drawings and documentation.
