Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) invites electrical engineering students to join our co-op program at mills across the United States. You may be considered for Electrical Reliability Co-op, Electrical Project Engineering Co-op, or Process Control Engineering Co-op based on mill needs and your interests.

You will work with reliability, project, and process control teams to gain hands-on experience. Responsibilities include supporting maintenance and project work, using AutoCAD, P&ID, and

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher is required.
• Must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver's license.
• Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Must have completed freshman year (or will have completed it) at time of co-op.

Responsibilities

• Support electrical reliability assignments to improve mill safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical and equipment reliability issues with mill personnel.
• Assist with reliability projects and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations to support safe mill operations.
• Assist with project management tasks as needed.
