Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting Electrical Engineering Co-ops for the Summer 2027 term in our MedTech sector, located in Cincinnati, OH. You will contribute to teams working on electrical and electromechanical surgical instruments, robotic systems, and data acquisition platforms.

The program offers state-of-the-art tools, hands-on design, and opportunities to rotate across projects with housing assistance for non-local students. A GPA of 3.0+ and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must have completed at least two semesters before the term begins.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co-op term.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical and electromechanical surgical instruments or related systems.
• Perform testing, experimentation, and validation to support product design.
• Assist in data acquisition, analysis, troubleshooting, and prototype fabrication.
• Gain experience in circuit design, firmware/software development, PCB design, and system prototyping.
• Work rotations 3–4 months with housing assistance for non-local students.
