Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting Electrical Engineering Co-ops for the Spring 2027 term, located in Cincinnati, OH. Be part of teams developing electrical and electromechanical surgical instruments, robotics, and data acquisition systems.

You will gain hands-on product development experience, including circuit design, firmware/software writing, PCB fabrication, prototyping, testing, and data interpretation with mentorship and housing assistance for non-local students.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum two semesters completed before start date (sophomore or above).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for the full term.
• GPA minimum 3.0.
• Demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs or community service.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teams developing electrical/electromechanical surgical instruments, robotics, or data acquisition systems.
• Use state-of-the-art tools to perform testing, experimentation, and validation for design support.
• Assist in design activities, experiments, data collection, troubleshooting, and documentation.
