Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineering Co-op to immerse in a mentorship-style session from January through July/August. You will contribute to digital hardware circuit boards for avionics and support existing products through recertification, testing and obsolescence management.

You will design, analyze and test circuit card assemblies, capture schematics, and operate lab equipment for integration testing.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and enrolled through internship/co-op.
• Must have at least 30 credit hours by the start of the internship/co-op.

Responsibilities

• Support existing products including recertification and cost-savings identification.
• Design, analyze, simulate and test Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers.
• Operate lab equipment to perform integration testing and schematic capture of designs.
