Job summary

RTX in Cedar Rapids invites students to join our manufacturing electrical engineering team as interns or co-ops, gaining hands-on experience with high-frequency radios and circuit board manufacturing processes. You will interpret drawings and specifications, analyze design tolerances, run cost/payback analyses for capital equipment, and help plan capacity and test needs.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related STEM major.
Background in Root Cause Analysis.
Relevant experience gained through on-the-job training, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

Provide technical interpretation of drawings and specifications.
Analyze and resolve design tolerance issues.
Evaluate, select, and order capital test equipment, including performing cost/payback analysis.
Support capacity planning and utilization analysis to ensure proper staffing and test equipment needs.
Identify and address routine test defects and improve test yields.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve test failures.
