Job summary

RTX is offering a full-time, onsite Electrical Engineering Co-op in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will contribute to developing digital hardware circuit boards for avionics, supporting existing products, and exploring cost-saving opportunities on the lab and production lines.

You will design, analyze, simulate, test and troubleshoot hardware, with exposure to FPGA, processors, memory, and high-speed interfaces, within the Avionics Network Hardware team.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate and test Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers (Processors, FPGAs, Memory, high-speed interfaces).
• Operate lab equipment to perform integration testing on hardware designs.
• Schematic capture of digital/analog mixed signal electrical circuit designs.
