Job summary

ms consultants, inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for water and wastewater projects in a hybrid role. You will collaborate with engineers, drafters, and managers to deliver solutions across the region.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET‑accredited electrical engineering degree, with PE license preferred or obtainable within 12 months, and proficient in AutoCAD and Revit. Experience with low/medium voltage, controls, and SCADA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Experience with power distribution, controls, and lighting.

Responsibilities

• Plan production for industrial (water/wastewater) facilities using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate design elements with other disciplines (architecture, structures, environmental, site civil, landscape).
• Define equipment, layout, and protection for distribution stations per codes/standards.
• Interpret customer requirements and develop distribution station plans and specifications.
• Collaborate on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, and instrumentation.
• Prepare electrical calculations for power distribution (low/medium voltage), lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems.
