Job summary

ms consultants, inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support water and wastewater projects across the region. The role is hybrid, offering flexibility while delivering design solutions for essential infrastructure.

You’ll plan electrical systems, coordinate with in-house disciplines, and develop distribution station plans using AutoCAD and Revit, with opportunities to grow professionally and contribute to public health and environmental outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan production for industrial (water/wastewater) facilities utilizing AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate design elements with other in-house disciplines (architecture, structures, environmental, site civil, landscape).
• Define equipment, layout, and protection requirements for new/retrofit distribution stations per industry codes.
• Interpret customer requirements and develop distribution station plans/specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, and instrumentation.
• Prepare electrical calculations for power distribution (low/medium voltage), lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems.
