Job summary

Arcadis in Ohio or Detroit-based hybrid role seeks an Electrical Engineer with strong water-wastewater background to join the Resilience Water team. The candidate will lead electrical design for water facilities, coordinating with design teams and clients.

The role emphasizes power distribution, lighting, controls, and communications, with CAD/Bentley and ETAP capabilities. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• PE license preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design and coordination with focus on power distribution, lighting, communications, and control systems
• Utilize CAD software (Autodesk and Bentley) for electrical design and documentation
• Establish design criteria and perform design calculations
• Develop electrical design documents including one-line diagrams, control schematics, and plans/specifications
• Provide engineering services during construction, review equipment submittals and shop drawings
• Conduct field inspections to ensure safety and conformance with design
• Perform electrical system analysis using ETAP, SKM Power Tools, and related software
• Travel as required to meet project needs
