Job summary

ms consultants, inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for water and wastewater projects across multiple regional offices. This hybrid role focuses on planning, modeling, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safe and sustainable infrastructure.

You will work under the Process and Controls Technical Service Manager, applying AutoCAD, Revit, and power distribution expertise to develop robust solutions and support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET‑accredited preferred).
• Experience with water/wastewater projects is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan production for industrial (water/wastewater) facilities using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate design elements with other disciplines (architecture, structures, environmental, site civil, landscape).
• Define equipment, layout, and protection requirements for distribution stations per codes and standards.
• Interpret customer requirements and develop distribution station plans and specs.
• Collaborate on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, and instrumentation.
• Prepare electrical calculations for power distribution (low/medium voltage), lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems.
