Job summary

ms consultants, inc. in Indianapolis, IN seeks an Electrical Engineer to support water and wastewater projects across the region in a hybrid role.

You will design electrical systems for critical infrastructure, collaborate with engineers and managers, and coordinate with in-house disciplines to meet codes and client needs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan production for industrial (water/wastewater) facilities using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate design elements with Architecture, Structures, Environmental, Site Civil, and Landscape.
• Define equipment, layout, and protection requirements for new and retrofit distribution stations per codes.
• Interpret customer requirements and develop distribution station plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, and instrumentation.
• Prepare electrical calculations for power distribution (low/medium voltage), lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems.
