Job summary

Ingersoll Rand in Monroe, LA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and support end-of-line test systems for pumps, compressors, and motors. You will advance LabVIEW and PLC-based tests, analyze data, and collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve reliability.

You will work on electrical instrumentation, sensing, and measurement systems, supporting product validation and quality while helping to reduce cycle times and boost uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, automation, controls, or test/industrial electrical engineering.
• 3+ years with LabVIEW and NI hardware/software, with exposure to pressure, temperature, flow, vibration, power measurement.
• 1+ years supporting end-of-line testing in high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain electrical and automated end-of-line test systems to validate performance, safety, and quality before shipment.
• Develop and support LabVIEW, NI hardware/software, PLC-based, and data acquisition systems for manufacturing and laboratory testing.
• Troubleshoot and improve electrical test equipment, instrumentation, sensors, controls, drives, and data collection systems to maximize uptime and test accuracy.
• Support measurement systems (pressure, temperature, flow, vibration) used in manufacturing and product qualification testing.
• Partner with Quality and Manufacturing to investigate test failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
