Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineering Professional to work on cutting-edge projects including semiconductor manufacturing and mission-critical facilities. The ideal candidate will be based near a Jacobs US office or Moon Township, PA with geographic flexibility for qualified candidates.

You will manage scope, schedule, and technical quality, coordinating with teams and the discipline lead to deliver reliable electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of engineering experience in building electrical systems.
• Experience with power system software such as ETAP.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards.
• Understanding of electrical power system equipment such as switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks, aligning with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Assist during startup and coordinate work with staff and the discipline lead.
• Produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, and grounding plans.
• Develop and review wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and control panel layouts.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
