Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership on advanced industrial facilities, including semiconductor projects. Flexible in-location within the U.S., with preference for Tempe, AZ, Moon Township, PA, or Portland, OR; remote work possible for qualified candidates.

The role involves leading design teams, supervising electrical discipline work, and delivering high-quality design packages.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
At least 10 years of engineering experience with building electrical systems.
Electrical design experience for semiconductor facilities.
Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
Extensive design experience with electrical power system equipment/components, such as switchgear, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Team lead experience.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution, grounding and lighting.
Occasionally retrofit existing building systems during projects.
Prepare technical specifications and construction documents.
Act as Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer.
Interact with clients, owners and contractors during projects.
Support construction activities on-site and assist in proposals.
