Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineering Professional to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing and advanced facilities. You will be responsible for scheduling and technical quality while coordinating with multi‑disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, 4+ years of experience, ETAP familiarity, and knowledge of NEC and IEEE standards. Hybrid work is offered across Jacobs US offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of engineering experience in building electrical systems.
• Experience with power system software (ETAP).
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards.
• Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Owns schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks for assigned work.
• Communicate scope and design changes promptly and assist during startup.
• Coordinate work activities with staff and discipline lead.
• Support installation details, electrical room layouts, and related systems.
